Hi loves! I wanted to check in with you guys about nutrition and eating habits. More so recently I find myself eating out quite a bit after a long day of work or even sometimes because of pure laziness (to be honest) so I wanted to touch on the subject of getting healthy options delivered to your door! We all know that eating out isn’t the easiest if you are trying to stick to a healthy diet. In my quest to eat out less and cook more, I’ve come across Sun Basket.
Sun Basket is a brand-new healthy cooking service that delivers fresh, organic ingredients along with 3 easy recipes to your door weekly. Each week, their chef develops an array of quick, healthy recipes to choose from, including Gluten-Free, Paleo-friendly, and Vegetarian options. They focus entirely on whole foods, sourced from the best West Coast farms – the kind of food that truly nourishes and makes you feel great. And also, the packaging is 100% recyclable, and you can even return the materials so they can recycle and reuse them.
I’ve done my research on a few delivery service companies but Sun Basket has stood out to me as a great farm to table, local and healthy option. The menu changes weekly, and I was able to try a baked shrimp with tomato, feta, orzo, and mint; seared pork loin with mashed sweet potatoes and chermoula butter; and beef and chorizo albondigas soup. All serve 2 (perfect for a couple) and were excellent, totally surpassing my expectations. They were also pretty easy to cook which was great for me as I am quite the beginner (and have a teeny tiny kitchen). I will definitely be ordering again and again!
Sun Basket is offering $20 off to any of you interested in signing up! Just click here. Thanks Sun Basket!
Alongside Sun Basket, a few other food delivery services that I love are Munchery and Sprig for all you SF peeps. Both are delivered to your door with the meals already made, all you have to do is heat them up. All are great alternatives to eating out. I hope this post was helpful and feel free to comment below with any questions!
A big thank you to Sun Basket for sponsoring this post.
